The SCADA server is a critical component that runs continuously at a substation — if it stops, the site can no longer be monitored. For that reason, office-grade PCs should be avoided in favour of hardware with a redundant power supply, hot-swap drive bays, a rack-mount chassis and a long-lifecycle industrial motherboard. The configuration we offer is dimensioned for field conditions in switchyard SCADA and turbine SCADA applications.

Key points
- Redundant 550 W power supply — the system keeps running if one module fails.
- 12 hot-swap SATA/SAS bays; a drive layout suited to RAID 1 / RAID 10 configurations.
- Two independent LAN ports — physical separation of the SCADA network from the corporate network.
- 4U rack-mount chassis, mounted directly into the existing telecom cabinet.
- A discrete graphics card enables a multi-monitor operator console (HDMI + DVI).
- Delivered with the operating system installed and licensed; SCADA software is deployed as part of the project.
