TEİAŞ uses both systems simultaneously because it requires the channels to operate redundantly. If a fault occurs on one channel, the system continues to operate seamlessly over the other.
The TEİAŞ communication system is one of the most critical communication systems in Turkey, so particular importance is attached to it. A possible fault in the system can affect the entire electricity transmission grid.
MAIN Channel
The primary communication path, normally built on the SDH / multiplexer infrastructure carried over OPGW.
STAND-BY Channel
The backup path, operating over a Türk Telekom leased line or power line carrier, taking over when the main channel fails.
