In simple terms, teleprotection devices operating as a pair in systems with OPGW fiber between two substations transmit the signal of a relay at one site to the opposite site as a dry contact. As a result, relays at the two sites work together even if they are from different manufacturers.
INTPRO 480X Teleprotection Device — designed and built in Turkey
The INTPRO 480X family (INTPRO 4801, 4802, 4803, 4804, 4805) is a domestically developed teleprotection device that communicates directly over fiber optic lines, provides 8 input / 8 output contacts and features a redundant power supply unit. The product has been approved by TEİAŞ and is in active service. It is the first teleprotection device in the world to display its event logs on an LCD screen.

100% Domestic Teleprotection Panel
We manufacture the domestic teleprotection panels specified in TEİAŞ substation project specifications in-house. Combining the INTPRO 480X device — developed entirely with domestic R&D and approved by TEİAŞ — with locally manufactured Üçer Pano cabinets, we produce a fully domestic teleprotection panel. We are proud to offer these panels, configured according to substation specifications and the number of feeders, to our customers.
SEL-2506 Teleprotection
The SEL-2506 is a protection relay device providing 8 inputs / 8 outputs over fiber optic lines. It operates at various supply voltages (−48, 100, 220 VDC or 220 VAC) and various input voltages (48, 100, 200 VDC). The device has an RS-232 port for output and works either directly over RS-232 or through the SEL-2830 fiber-to-RS-232 converter. The RS-232 port supports 9,600, 19,200 and 38,400 kbps and its internal algorithm operates with a very strong security structure.
Orion Teleprotection Device
The Orion teleprotection device provides 8 inputs / 8 outputs over fiber lines or an E1 port and offers various voltage options. When ordering, the fiber optic or E1 (2 Mbps) interface must be specified.
